1. We are family by Sister Sledge
For the start of a soundtrack of my life I have to start with my family. My family is really close with my mom. She is my friend and my two sisters as well. One of my sisters live in California and other in Texas but we call each other all the time and talk by Skype, we cant live without each other.

2. Luz Clarita by Daniela Lujan
If I think about my childhood one of the biggest memories would be "Luz Clarita" of Daniela Lujan. I remember everything about the actress and how much she relates to my childhood. The other day I found the cassette and a lot of things came to my mind including how innocent I was. I always cry, girls would bite me and hit me and I would only cry. I was the most innocent girl.

3. My reflection by Christina Aguilera
I love the movie Mulan, it was one of my favorite movies when I was a girl. I wanted to be strong like her and fight like her. This song has stayed with me and I frequently sing and listen to it. When I remember Mulan the movie this song just comes to my mind.

4. Im Just a Kid by Simple Plan
When I was in school I didn't hang out at all, I was a student and a tennis player so I didn't get out much. People were having fun and I was just playing tennis or in a tournament.

5. Eye of the Tiger by Survivor
This song reminds me of when I would be in tournament of tennis. I'm really competitive and I was a good player, I traveled to different places to represent Puerto Rico and that made me really proud. But every time I played in a tournament I went to kill.

6. High School Never Ends by Bowling for Soup
When I was in high school I just see a lot of bitchy girls, dudes that think they are handsome as f..., people that vain who would look down on others, and kids that think they are cool because they had a lot of sex. I thought everything will be different in college but a lot of things stayed the same.

7.Livin' la Vida Loca by Ricky Martin
This is the best song that describes my first 2 years of university with my friends we had a really intense nights out. We partied for a lot of weeks. I think it was a really awesome time in my life.

8. Solo Cup by Toby Keith
Its almost been two years since I met the boys of the Coast Guard they became part of my life, with them I started talking English more and I also made some fiends including my boyfriend. I picked this song because I remember how much they loved it and how they would play it in all the bars we went to. I will never forget all times we played beer pong, this song was our anthem.

9. Express by Christina Aguilera
I have sung since I was in high school, I don't think I'm an amazing singer but I love to sing. I performed this song a year ago and it is my best performance I think. Which is why I decided to put this song to talk about my love of singing.

10. God Gave Me You by Blake Shelton
This song is part of my relationship with my boyfriend, it is our song, but at the same time it makes me think about all the people around me. People that help me and love me; my family and friends, including people that I don't know but in a certain moment they are there for me.

11. Hard to Love by Lee Brice
My boyfriend dedicated me this song, to try to show me how he felt. When I listen to the song I think about all the stuff that you see when you are living with someone, that maybe you don't like or it is hard for you but you still love
them and are happy.

12. Shining on by Big D and the Kids Table
This is an overall song when everything is going bad, the sun keeps shinning and we have to keep our living with a happy face and with our head always up.

*Note: The name of each song have a link that show you the video of each one.

Hi,I liked you to focus in my grammar and gave me feedback My three favorite artists, a piece of work that I did for my Writting Skills class. Thank you.

Picture
I read the piece of writing: A Collegiette's Classification of UPR. I really think it was super funny, and it's true of course. When you see it in general, it always has some exceptions to the rules. I think girls and boys look like similar but with just a few differences but the categories are generally the same. I think the homo lumpen tiraos are everywhere in all the University and most of the people have at least one day in the semester dressing like that, maybe not with the politic shirt but tiraos , in this I'm including myself as a girl. In ADMI I complete agree with that. They had diversity but I think she explained them perfectly, in girls I would not add the ocean girls. I didn't see that being a big mark in girls. About the freshmen, I don't have too much to said they are in transition. I'm from Naturales, yes I agree sometimes we look like we are not sleeping at all, we have to go someday with tennis or close shoes, and sometimes we look weird. Yes always we have a lot of baggage that's so true. I personally don't like the coffee. It is true for most people. When they talk about coffee during class, it makes them want to leave to go get some coffee. About the architecture student it is so true, every once in a while you see them walking with their huge drawing book
or their plans of a building for a work also like the Naturales people  they have a lot of baggage. And maybe you may know someone  that is studying in this department and you will never know that person is the university, its happened to me I have been her for 3  years in the University and the other day I just met a person who graduate with me was studying here, so when i read the piece i laugh a lot while reading that part because I remember that. I completely agree with Huma and is kinda the same for girls. It doesn't change too much.
Now I'm going to describe better my department: Naturales and for girls

Environmental science: This people are always fighting for the plastic and why we buy bottles of water. Maybe you will see them in a table with all the bottles of water in the floor and talking about that. Sometimes you will see them wearing a T-Shirt against Monsanto. They always wear sport jeans, shirt, normal for going to the university and also know that we are in "Naturales" with a lot of bichas.

Chemistry and Biology: I think I can put them in the same one most of them are really come mierdas and also always have the nails painted with shellac and messing with their hairs in all the classes. You can just see all of them in a class playing with their hairs. But it is not just the appearance it is also the movements even for get a pencil, or talk you can put the bitch  banner on the forehead

Computer Science: Those girls are weird, and don't have any sense of fashion. They look really geeky but some are nice. I wish some of them can get a makeover and change the appearance.

Physics: I don't know anyone that is in the physics department but if some girl is in there I will consider her a genius because I cant deal with the physics. I hate it a lot.

Well and the end of this we will always see a tendency in some departments but is not all true because we are just generalizing. We all have our sense of style but the personality is unique. I just say what I think.

Robi Draco Rosa
Draco Cornelius Rosa Suárez (born June 27, 1969), also known as Robi Draco RosaDraco Rosa or simply Draco, is an American-born Puerto Rican, multiple-time Grammy and Latin Grammys winning musician, singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, poet and entrepreneur. I fell in love with his music a long time ago, when I was I kid my sisters used to listen to him a lot, which influenced me to start listening to him. I like the passion, dedication and interpretation of Draco. I know he doesn't have the most amazing voice but the feeling in his voice and passion is unique and that is what I love the most about him. When Ii saw him on stage I can see the same passion and the same feeling things that is the most important in a singer and most don't have it. But I love him not just for the singing also for his composition, he is an amazing composer. Right now I listen to him a lot in the radio or sometimes I just put it on Spotify and listen him for a while. I think unconsciously I was a fan since I was a kid. When I grew up I started listening to him for myself. The mood depends on the song sometimes it makes me think of the world and I feel bad about nature and what we are doing, sometimes it makes me think about my steps in the world, and how I don't know a lot of different things. I did not have the opportunity to go to one of his concerts but this year I'm going for sure.

Draco was part of Menudo a Puerto Rican, a band of kids, I'm pretty sure all of you know about this band. He decided to leave the group because he did not have the opportunity to write songs for the group. After that he moved to Rio de Janiero, Brazil he made two solo albums in Portuguese. Wanting to extend the reach of his talents into other media, Rosa moved to Los Angeles, California. He swiftly landed the lead in the feature film Salsa. of Motion Picture. He also appeared alongside Christopher Mitchum in a German film entitled Gummibarchen kussit man nicht. Rosa wrote, produced and performed two songs—“Angela” and “Little Woman”—for the soundtrack of this film, which was released by RCA Records under his publishing company, Seiba Tree Music. Draco worked on Ricky Martin’s A Medio Vivir. He co-wrote and co-produced the majority of the songs on the album, including the hit single, “María,” conquering a space on the Top 10 Billboard album charts. The 1996 release of his second album, Vagabundo, recorded in England and produced by Roxy Music guitarist Phil Manzanera. The video for the song “Madre Tierra,” won Best Rock Video in the 1997 Latin Music Awards; Vagabundo was included in Spin Magazine’s 1997 Top 10 list of “greatest rock in spanish records of all time.”

Rosa wrote and recorded Ricky Martin’s chart-topping album Vuelve under the pseudonym Ian Blake, which netted five hit singles including “La Copa De La Vida” (a.k.a. “The Cup of Life”). Between 1998 and 1999, he wrote and recorded Ricky Martin’s highly celebrated first English album, which includes the now legendary single “Livin’ La Vida Loca.” The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard album charts, skyrocketing afterwards to an astounding 20 million albums sold worldwide. For Martin’s album Sound Loaded (2000), Rosa produced four tracks, including the hit single “She Bangs.” Rosa also produced Corazón (1999), the platinum album of Latin pop star Ednita Nazario, for which he also wrote and produced the song “Más Grande Que Grande” under the name Dolores del Infante, which reached a spot in the Top 10 Latin Billboards; he wrote and produced three songs for world- renowned singer Julio Iglesias’ album, Noche De Cuatro Lunas (2000).

Rihanna

Robyn Rihanna Fenty, best know as Rihanna, was born on February 20th, 1988, in Saint Michael, Barbados. I fell in love with her unique voice, her rhythm, her unique style for presentation to and her fashion, well sometimes. I have been a fan of her work, since the song "Pon the Replay." I hear her on the radio constantly like when I'm cleaning, running, or doing something active. When I hear this type of music I get active. I have never been to one of her concerts, I just watch videos but I'm planning to go to her concert in October.

Her second album, "A Girl Like Me", was a platinium-selling album. This album include the #1 hits "SOS","Unfaithfull" and "Umberella." Rihanna dropped her third album, the multi-platinum Good Girl Gone Bad, in 2007. This album include “Russian Roulette” made chart history for Rihanna – as her 12thBillboard Hot 100 career hit. The next single, “Rude Boy” (the fifth multi-platinum certified song of Rihanna’s career) hit #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and Hot 100 Airplay, and MediaBase’s Pop, Hot Dance Radio, Hot Dance Clubs, Rhythm, and Urban charts. The first two singles of the album "Loud", “What’s My Name” (featuring Drake) and “Only Girl (In the World),” were worldwide successes, both solid #1 chart-toppers in the U.S. and UK. “What’s My Name,” “Only Girl (In the World)” and “S&M” became Rihanna’s 8th, 9th, and 10th #1 Billboard Hot 100 hits, respectively. Rihanna now ranks as the only female artist of the past decade to chart ten #1’s on the Hot 100 as well as the youngest soloist to notch ten Hot 100 #1’s.

She has also sung in Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Hebrew, Greek, and German. I started loving her music maybe two years, I knew about her from my singing teacher when he gave me a song that she sung. I heard other songs and started becoming fascinated with her powerful voice. I heard her when i searched it in the computer  she is not a well-know artist in Puerto Rico. I used to listen to her for practice singing and most of the songs that I know of her are sad so I don't usually listen to them for fun, or for entertainment. I don't want to get that sad. I have never been to one of her concerts, and I never had the opportunity to go, but if someday I can have the opportunity I will do it, and I know I will love it.

She has sold over 18 million records worldwide, with particular success in Europe and Quebec.  The mission of this organization is to heal and help persons addicted to drugs. I had an uncle who was addicted to drugs, his addiction start after his mother's death. He started getting episodes of depression and also his stepfather kick him out of the house leaving him in the streets, my mom worked hard trying to help him get off of drugs but she didn't have success, he always went back to them. My uncle got HIV, hepatitis C, and other diseases. He ended up dying in the hospital alone, without anyone, calling my mom. I want to help those people making a free clinic, give those people the option to also work with us when they heal, but the most  important thing would be to go to the streets heal and help them. Our vision is use the technology, the experiences, the clinical expertise to succeed in our mission and help those people who need hope, love and health.
Drug addiction is the dependency of the use of illegal or medicated drugs. Once you are addicted you don't have the control  over the use of drugs and keep using them knowing the harm that you are making to your body and health. Most of the people want to quit but they can't by themselves, they need help. To know the truth about drugs and how it feels we need to hear, those who have “been there.”:
“My goal in life wasn't living...it was getting high. I was falling in a downward spiral towards a point of no return. Over the years, I turned to cocaine, marijuana and alcohol under a false belief it would allow me to escape my problems. It just made things worse. I had everything, a good job, money, a loving family, yet I felt so empty inside. As if I had nothing. Over twenty years of using, I kept saying to myself, I’m going to stop permanently after using this last time. It never happened. There were even moments I had thought of giving up on life.” —John

What I want to do with this organization is to give addicts hope, health and love. Because maybe tomorrow, you will see an addict in the streets and it could be a member of your family or it can be you. I want to hear of them:
“I asked myself if this is rock bottom, and I believe that it was. While observing these homeless people I decided that I had had enough. Yes I wanted drugs, but I realized that I could want life more.” --Ben.
And hearing that I would feel that we can do it, we can finish with that, we can make a better world. Helping those persons will gave me the best satisfaction. 100 people die from drug overdoses every day in the United States, but I want this number to be 0.
